Perfect accompaniment to the 2 ingredient Naan breads, this smoky, flavored packed hummus is sure to kick any party up a notch!
Ingredients you'll need:
1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1 lemon, juiced
1 red pepper, roasted/charred or a jar of roasted red peppers
4 garlic cloves
4 tablespoons of tahini paste
1/4 teaspoon of paprika
3 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil-plus a tablspoon for drizzling
Sea Salt for sprinkling on top
Throw all of your ingredients in a blender or food processor, blend or pulse on high until mixture is smooth, if you use a blender you're going to have more texture then a food processor where it will be smoother, either way is good- to your liking.
Plate the hummus with a spoon and swirl, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, sea salt flakes, paprika and a little chopped cilantro or parsley. Serve with naan or veggies.
