Quick 2 Ingredient Bagels

Updated: May 6, 2020

You’re probably thinking, 2 ingredients? What about the long process bagels have to go through? Water baths, lye solution ect. NOPE! You’re skipping all of it and taking about 30 minutes out of your day to make these super quick and easy bagels.

First you’ll need Self rising flour, now if you don’t have it you can use... ****AP (all purpose) flour, 3 teaspoons of baking powder & 1/2 teaspoon of salt

*Also not included in the “2 ingredients” are egg wash, cinnamon sugar, Everything but the bagel seasoning, garlic salt, sea salt, the possibilities are ENDLESS!

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F

Get your sheet pan ready with either a silicone baking mat or parchment paper

Combine: 2 cups of Self rising Flour

2 cups of plan Greek yogurt

Mix both ingredients in a bowl with a spatula or your hands until fully incorporated and dough like

Place the dough on a floured surface and knead by hand for about 4 minutes

Divide your dough into 8-10 portions depending on the size you want your bagels. Shape each piece into a ball, and using your thumbs “drill” a hole into the middle working with the dough and making a bagel like shape

Place the bagels onto the pan and egg wash and add the toppings you would like, pictured is the Everything But the bagel seasoning from Trader Joe’s

Bake for 25 minutes at 375 degrees until golden brown, making sure to rotate halfway

Slice in half for a freshly baked bagel sandwich or lather with cream cheese and enjoy!!🥯
